    your explanation.
My plans show the control stick base in the center of the
airplane, like yours. On Drawing No. 9 there is a single control stick.
On Drawing No. 17 there is a 2 place control stick. The tube that
fits into the base is only 2 1/2 inches long and is welded to a "T"
which than goes UNDER your legs and than up between your legs.
The right side is also removeable from the left side. My plans
    don't show any other sticks.

    Just info.

    Don:

Maybe I have a modified set of plans!?! The set I have, has the center stick and this "J" tube arrangement; however, the drawings don't look original. My plans came from another builder so they may have been modified.

One thing is for sure with the "J" tube arrangement, one person will be flying with a hand on the center stick without access to the throttle. Don, I believe, the plans you have will allow two people to fly within comfortable reach of the center throttle.

Sorry for any confusion. Heck, maybe I can start a new fad with the "J" tube design? East Coast Eric, get your welder buddy ready. :-)

Does the throttle remain in the same (center) location?

      Eric:

Throttle is located in the same place--center stage.

        Re: Clipped Wing Question

Actually we made up the so called double "j" tube for FAA certification then never used it again . I just leave the center stick in place and sit beside it. You have to watch that the person next to the other side of the stick does not crowd over very much. WE have a nice VHS tape showing all this stuff here in my office.... I guess WE need to copy it... Anybody doing VHS transfer or maybe go to DVD??? I just put in a 16X double density burner here at the Foundation. High speed Road runner coming next week too!!
