J3 wing tank

I found a never installed 8 gal wing tank for my J3 project for cheap.....what paperwork issues are there for install....There is none with this tank. Can this be a 337?

If the TCDS lists the wing tank as optional, then it is just a logbook entry by your IA.

I was planning to fly up and visit Luke in in Mqt a couple weeks. Was hoping to connect with you as well. That plan got quickly shot to hell last Friday.
