ROBERT.,
I thought it was your aircraft in a picture I saw a few years back ,however I just wanted to bring it to the notice of all the
F-22 series Owners, that they should keep an eye on the wheel pant bracket ,I was lucky the field I operate out of is grass,
had it been pavement ,the wheel pant would have been damaged ,as if it had hit a grinding wheel, I liked the Tiger Moth
Flying over your Taylorcraft, I have a man that comes into my strip with a yellow Tiger moth, there getting fairly scarce
any more,Robert all the best to you sir.

Paul.

Hi Cubby,

There are no wheel Pants fitted to my F22A and I suspect there never have been as the aircraft was flown from the Factory straight to the UK with it's Tail Dragger sister the parts of which are in my garage following an insurance "write Off" and there was no evidence of wheel Pants on that aircraft either.

I suspect the lack of wheel Pants may be the possibility of having to land in fields or on poor terrain? My F22A has two small metal strips which appear to be possibility connected with wheel Pants on the inside of the nose wheel leg but there is nothing on the other two wheel legs.
