i guess i,ll leave it the way it is for the time being, as my wife sat in a new F22A 1992 Taylorcraft, in the factory at the old piper plant ,we meet
the Chief Engineer, a MR DARRELL. C. Romick ,and he brought us in, and turned all the lights on, in the Factory and gave us a personal tour of
the new 1992 Taylorcraft line, at the end of the line, there was a tail wheel ,and a nose wheel plane ,he told the wife here Mrs ,git in and see what
you think of this Nose Wheel Taylorcraft, she was hooked, she wanted one right then and there, but i didn,t want to buy one just yet,but any way,
i didn,t tell her ,what i wanted to do to this Plane, and when she found out,she was not happy, and wanted it left in its present build .,so i guess the
nose wheel stays, for now any way,but thank you for thinking of me,Have a great day and sorry to have started some thing i couldnt finish,if the
wife is happy, then i am, if shes not ,i wont be.

I don't suppose when you were at the factory there was any mention of the two aircraft being flown to the UK? I have been attempting to contact the Ferry Pilots who carried out the flight to add to the history of my aircraft but so far have drawn a blank! Keep me in touch with anything of interest F22A wise as we are an endangered species! Have a great weekend. Bob Preston.
Thanks Robert for understanding ,and no there was no mention of your two planes going to England ,but the man sure was a great guy, taking us threw
the plant like he did,he was an very special person,at the time i still owned a model 19 Taylorcraft ,CF-XSU ,But the wife was really impressed with the
man and the Factory ,and the new Taylorcrafts, with nose wheels, and still is as i found out lately , Robert have a great day sir, talk later.

In pictures on the web, it shows you Taylorcraft, with the wheel pants off ,can I ask if your wheel pant bracket broke, after flying my F22A Taylorcraft today , I noticed the right wheel pant with a slight angle down at the rear ,upon removal I found the wheel pant bracket to the wheel pant broken,I can fix it but just curious if that's why your pants were off, or if im in a catorgory by myself ,thanks Robert
