I was looking at Matsuthunder200's picture of his 'thermal blanket' (see his thumbnail in the 'Ski Planes' thread). By the way, I've got to adopt that idea to help keep the cabin warm; I figure it needs to come down when the humidity goes up to keep air circulating in the back.
Anyway, he shows a shoulder harness apparently attached to a horizontal member behind his head.
Other than welding a mount to that member, how else can one anchor that harness? I know that at the harness end one could use an appropriately rated length of cable and nicopress to the metal tab on the harness, and it would seem reasonable one could do the same at the 'member' end (via a very short length of cable), but how would you prevent lateral motion? Not that I'm planning on doing this anytime soon, but I'd like to have an idea 'how to' in my back pocket.
Thanks - Mike
