Best I can tell is it's a 7mm fitting. Will see if I can find one locally. Seems like TSC may have them

Tailwheel Grease fitting
Anyone know the size of the grease fitting in the Scott 2000 tailwheel? Mine pulled out the other day. Not sure yet if half of it is still in there or if it's just really short. It only has a few threads on it. It is staying out for now, bit I want to replace it.

I think Scott nailed it. I checked everything and nothing is loose or moves.
I had a friend press up on the wing while I pet pressure on the top of the leading edge and the sound goes away.

I'll double check that, but that's is part of mu preflight and I don't recall any movement there.
you are talking about the point where the struts meet at the step, correct?

I love the Pacific Northwest.
I also got to meet Bruce and his wife when he sold me his lovingly restored BC12-D. Grateful to have met him and hope to go see him this summer so he can fly the plane he built a bit more.

Apologies for reviving such an old thread, but I am experiencing something similar.
I am a new TC owner.. Well, I've owned it since December, but just got my TW endorsement this month.
I bought Bruce Caldwell's restored 46 BC-12D. The plane has about 50 hours sine the restoration...
