Shinn plate overlay...

Looks like the wheels fit these axles that taper from 1 1/4" down to 7/8", then fitted with a 5/8" nut. I know the Shinn stuff fit here, as I have some of those parts left over and they fit on these gear legs....

Mystery solved... with a big thanks to A18336. These are instead for a Lincoln Page or Swallow biplane.
There are at least a couple of those left flying about. So, we will try to get these over to one of their handlers. Thanks, all.

The ailerons are wood, and the other items are mostly welded tubes of various sizes with bracket-style hinges...
