Was in the high 70's here today, was the same last week. I just reflected on it today: we didn't have a winter here this year!
We usually have weeks of thick fog here in the Calif. central valley in the winter, maybe two days this year and wasn't that thick. Had one spell of a week and 1/2 of rainy weather and a few odd days of showers. Was only a little wetter and cooler last year. We were having shirt-sleeve weather in January. I have been out here in the valley 16 years now and never seen anything like it.
Up state north it seemed to be more normal, but I don't really know if it was different there or not.
