A lot of you know I am a tower crane operator, my new job is directly under the flight path to one of Charlotte Douglass airport's runways.
We just put the crane up and it is only 80 feet tall and already 1 plane has done a go around. I didn't see it but the guys on the ground did some swearing. A 130, (there is a NC guard unit here) passed by this afternoon and I can now attest to my uncle's remark after my dad made a low pass (between the trees in a connie as I was told) over him as he was picking himself up at our hunting camp in upstate NY.
