So today we checked out lower gear leg struts to comply with the SB. Found that one was drilled, one was not. We drilled a hole in the one that didn't have one and cleaned out the hole that was there.
When we tapped the strut with a plastic mallet rust dust and some sand came out of the hole. Not much but enough to make a pile of debris about 1/2" diameter about 3/32" high. Should we be concerned?
