Last night, I met really nice young man from Reading, England,
He's very interested in aviation but has not flown in a light GA aircraft. He wants to be a pilot and is considering a career in aviation.
He just graduated from High School and is in the US for 9 months conducting a a Youth Ministry type service with the Catholic Church, I think.
I offered him a Taylorcraft ride. He was extremely interested. But we couldn't work it out with his busy schedule here in Ponchatoula, LA (they are helping build a Habitat for Humanity house this week)
Then they drive to College Station, TX for Thanksgiving and a few days off.
Is there anyone near College Station that would be willing to take this guy for a hop and talk him out of a career in aviation?
His name sounds like Kirin. But I'm not sure how it's spelled. He doesn't have cell phone but is traveling with a team and the leader does.
