Six Inch Tach

Hey guys, I have a question. My three in one tach has a white face on, not a black one like the photo on Cart, Jon's photo site.
Is my tach out of a boat?? It doesn't say Criss Craft, but then it doesn't say Taylorcraft either. Sabrina
