I've removed my upholstered door panels and was going to go back to just bare painted metal. Some of the original metallic blue paint is still visible in the middle of the ring of upholstery glue residue on my doors. (Left photo below.)
But then I was looking at a BC12-D parts price list and saw p/n 1620-35 R/L "Leatherette - Inside Metal Door". And I've seen several other BC12-Ds with vinyl covering their door panels. (Three other photos below.)
