Was out at it again this morning, really nice day. Shirtsleeve on the ground and a little on the cool side at 3000.

Found minimum power-off sink airspeed of 500 ft/min at 55 MPH.

Was curious about what I noticed about spiral (roll) stability at over 30 degrees of bank the other day so I checked that.

At Cruise power of 2000 to 2300 in a LEFT bank the aircraft will stabilize at up to 45 degrees and just go round and round until you get tired of it or whatever. Will lift nose up to stabilize pitch and altitude if the nose drops or when upset by mild bumps. Automatically makes very mild slow corrections

Same settings and RIGHT turn at 45 degrees: The aircraft went around several times struggling to keep things under control and suceeded in correcting the nose down trend a few times and then it slowly started to roll into the turn. I stopped it at about 60* when the G's started building up. About 120 MPH (110 calibrated.)

Going to take a little respite and do some non-flying stuff while I think about other fun things to do.
