Well, I for one am jealous!

I can only dream about moose in the backyard. Tried to put a hunt together up there 5 years ago and it morphed into a salmon fishing trip with the group. Lot's of the black and white spotted "moose" here in Wisc.

Slept in the tent last night, and about 5 o'clock this morning a big cow moose walked into camp, just munching on grass. I wanted to be as still as possible so not to spook her. At one time her feet were only an arms length away from the zipper door. And then she wondered off.

Mike, here is a picture of a very symetrical rack a friend brought by the other day...I didn't collect this one, just stuck my "ought 6" in for reference...the gun is 45 3/4 " in length. Dick

Don't know which gets me going more.... the thought of a big bull moose with the bow or my new BF purchase. I had a deposit on a 10 day, one on one, hunt in Newfoundland 10 years ago but lost the hunt to changing jobs. In 1997 I lived near Chehalis Washington for a year. My neighbor was born and raised in AK. He is the one I tried to to rally for a moose hunt in AK. He had a buddy with charter boats up there and ended up changing the hunt to a salmon camp. I have caught enough salmon and steelhead to last a lifetime and was not really into spending that much $$ to catch fish. Keep the pics coming to us trolls below the bridge!

Dick, I know I already talked to you about uploading the pics, but if anyone else is curious about how to upload better quality pics than the forum can handle, this is how I do it.

Sign up with www.flickr.com . It's free for the basic membership. What they do is hold your your pictures at a different server online. This way they won't fill up taylorcraft.org's main server. They can be any size and quality.

Once you upload them to flickr, you can browse through your pictures, and click on one you want to show up in the forum. Click "see different sizes". Scroll down and you'll see where it says "Grab photo's URL". Copy the address with right-click-copy.

In the forum when you are posting, click on the "Insert Image" symbol (little yellow button on top with the mountains). Paste the address into the window that pops up. Hit enter. Submit the reply or thread.

And there ya go
