The Lyc65 engine I have has 625hrs sence major OH. Plane was sold and the engine was torn down for inspection.The crankshaft has a casting porositie in the first race clostes to the prop.Is this not a problem? why did the A&P use it. It was turned .020 under so more than one person had to see it...It isnt a problem in a car and they are used this way but in a plane??? What about it??? John
