Well was not going to tackle the D windows yet however figured why not? One less thing to do down the road and already have been cutting the new door windows. Of course then the decision was whether to use the old metal frames or not. I do not know if my dad or his partner or Previous owner had made the old ones but they looked amateur (dad was master craftsman building 18th furniture as his hobby but metal was never his strong suit) so any way I am not either so had my metal man make me up two new ones which he beveled the edge around the plexiglass perfectly. . The screws I am using do go all the way through the wood frame however they will be shortened and the nuts will be imbbedded in the opposite side of the fame (about to set those holes with a small forestner drill bit) That way it is strong and will not interfere with the interior .
