Agust 7 come to Canada's gatering of the Clasics
August 7 th at Edenvale Aerodrom Noth of Toronto is the "Gathering of the the Clasics."
Free food for flyinn pilots. War birds from Canadian Warplane Heritage will be in attendence as well as the Harvard from the Harvard assosiation in Tillsonburg Ontario, They alwys put on a good show.A Puss Moth with Royal background is planing attendens.
Note there is landing and take off proccedure just as in Oshkosh See

If you are comming from the eastern states clear customs in St Catharines Cysn or Hamilton ( has landing fee, I think) on return to USA use
Niagara Falls NY.
both are just over Niagara river.
Fuel is cheaper in Welland CNQ3 when St Catharines but has no customs.Only a 10 min flight to the south follow Welland canal

Fly to Mans VOR fly 32 deg radial from the VOR for 22 statut miles ( 19 nautical miles)
VOR Ident YMS, DME ch 92
runway 4000 ft 31 -8 and 2 more.
NOTE a circle of 65 nautical miles radius from Toronto international has a altitude restriction for light aircrafts of 6500 ft. I also recomend to go south of Hamilton Airport. I recomed the following rout: Head for York airport when Brantfort airport for lunch open to 2 pm dayly, when Mans vor.They have lots of pax and freight flight in and out there as well.
I fly with out transponder but if you dont know the area one is recomeded.
With out Transponder you need a special bordercrossing permit what takes time to get 3- 4 weeks. Call Homeland securety!

Rain date is the 9th of August.
Last time (4 years ago)I was there they also had a good collection of antique and classic cars.
