I swapped for this airplane last month to clean up and resale with the hopes of making a little extra Christmas cash but it took a little longer then expected to get her annualed,so maybe I can get a little New Years cash. It's a nice little t-craft,not show quality or anything like that but a good looking,good running flyer. She starts on the first pull everytime,runs great,no leaks,and no problems. Here's a little about her.....
1850TTAF,500SMOH on an A75 Cont,10 hours since a complete teardown inspection due to a very light prop strike(new prop installed at time of teardown).IMHO it should have been signed off as a major overhaul because all the steel parts were sent out to Aircraft Specialties and yellow tagged or replaced ,the cylinders were reworked,all new bearings,bushings,rods,rod bolts,piston pins,piston rings,case studs,gaskets,etc,etc was put in new. The accessories were not overhauled during the teardown inspection. It has Air Tech urathane fabric process that was done in 2000 and has been hangared ever since. It has nice interior but needs headliner installed,a new headliner is included with the sale. It has just recieved a very extensive annual.....Univair sealed struts installed with all new AN hardware,new jury strut clamps,new bungees,SS exhaust,fire extinguisher,sliding window seals, 2 place intercom,Slick mags with shielded ignition,overhauled carb,new primer seals, and the list goes on and on. Has good logs back to the 1940's. All paperwork is present...data tag,AWC,registration,etc,etc. A new tach was installed at the time of recover and it has 103.4 hours since it was completly restored.
