Tribe- Me and a few Tcrafters have a Smith Miniplane that we are going to sell. I purchased this a while back but have discovered that being 6'1" and 200 pounds I just do not fit.
It is in excellent condition and was built by the designer of the Christian Eagle (Mr. Christianson). The workmanship is awesome. It also has the desirable wood leading edges. The covering is ceconite and is really nice. It is 3 inches wider and 2 inches longer than a stock Smith and is set up for an IO-320. We are asking $3500 for the airframe minus FWF. This would be a perfect light sport plane with a C85 or 90 installed- With the small continental it would weigh around 600 pounds and all you would have to do is build a mount/ cowling.
I plan to advertise on Barnstormers if no-one here is interested- just thought it would be a great addition to someone's Tcraft hanger-
