I wanted to test the water and let you guys know that I'm offering my 1946 bcs12d (factory float kit) plane/now project for sale. I ran a free 100 word ad on barnstormers. Not sure how much interest that will generate. $10K gets you a complete aircraft, all parts are there. Even have some new stuff for the rebuild including 4130 tube and wood for the door frames. The fuse has been blasted and primed and is sitting in a jig awaiting new lower longerons and cross tubes in the belly. There is a second set of tailfeathers in good condition that only needs some minor work done on the rudder. New Glass all the way arround. Observer doors, had a skylight. New tailwheel springs, about 50hrs on a new tailwheel, 50smoh on the strongest dam A65 out there(lots of details on the engine alone) The wings are as removed. Paint is so-so, but structuraly good. Last fabric arround 1985 ceconite. Nice stock unmolested airframe. Stock pannel. Complete logs. I just don't have the spare time right now and would rather be flying.
