Folks - TaP shows subject Tcraft for sale. It's at W. Kentucky Airport. I"ve had an A&P look it over and have elected to pass. You may be interested.
Your POC is Phil at 270.448.3927; he's selling it for a friend and is asking $15,500.
A&Ps was not overly impressed.
- noted that the fuselage was covered in '72 and the Horiz.Stab in '83, indicating something happened and there is no or inadequate indication in the logbook.
- tubing was painted with enamel, which is peeling away, indicating something is going on between the enamel and the tubing.
- enamel paint on the fuselage
- cracks in dope finish on wings and parts of the fuselage
- lots of play in controls
- sketchy records of overhaul
-fabric may be rotten in parts.
