Replaced my Flottrop wood prop - 69/46 with a senesch 74CK 70/38 metal. On test flight, had perhaps a 200 rpm lower static (2250 +/- vs 2400 +/- on the wood one). Finally reached red line at straight and level (2550) at about 95 IAS, 5000', DA 3400. Is this what I should expect with the metal prop ? Is there any way to increase rpm on climb-out ? The throttle seems to be at the stops pushed all the way in, but would like to have her closer to the power curve. Any ideas ?
