    Just a little "Grins and Giggles" on landing gear. Next time you are out look at your tail wheel springs for those little safety wires in the photo. It is called "Mousing" and you need them to be there. IfF you bounce just right (or wrong) the spring hook can pop out of one of the holes. It is rare but the fix is easy. DO IT!

    If the spring comes loose, TRUST ME, IT IS MORE EXCITEMENT THAN YOU WANT! You WILL ruin a perfectly good pair of pants! I was lucky, I was going below a slow walk.

    To get it started this is a photo of the pre war and post war bungee covers. The flat one was pre war and the bulged one fits on a 45 and later.
